We know the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has an 8MP camera. The handset offers one of the most powerful imaging devices yet seen amongst Android handsets. Up until now we haven’t seen any results from the imaging side of the Xperia X10.

However, Rikard Skogberg from the Sony Ericsson Product Blog, has been snapping away for the last few days and posted some great sample pics from Stockholm. The results encompass a number of shots from macros to landscape to give an idea what the handset is capable of.

Rikard caveats the results by saying that it is still pre-release hardware & software and much can change until release, but it looks a great first effort from where I’m standing. Check out the pictures after the break.
