The guys over at the SE Product Blog have another quick video that shows how messaging works on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The video shows that you can send a text message either from the Timescape view or by pressing the traditional messaging button. Your messages then follow in a ‘conversation’ pattern, similar to other Android handsets.

There does seem to be a few seconds delay before Timescape starts, but it is a pre-production model so let’s hope that this is rectified before release. The keyboard has different functions for symbols, numbers as well as localized characters for other languages. It wasn’t shown in the video, but the keyboard can be used in both portrait and landscape modes. Check out the video after the jump.
