I just bought a 2600MAH from batteryupdate.com and the damn backcase dont even fit on my x10 i hope this isnt the case on the new ones

I have figured out a way to charge the X10, X10 mini & X10 mini pro faster.

I found out that the X10 mini pro uses the same charger end as a Blackberry, therefore you can use a Blackberry charger with it.

This lets you charge the phone faster and it seems to keep the charge better once it is charged.

I’ve been running the large Mugen battery in my X10 for a couple of months now and I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

I went on holiday a while ago for a long weekend and it lasted 4 days with very heavy usage on the trip there and the trip back, and moderate usage at other times (photos, calls, texts).

My Iphone friends were most jealous

meanwhile is everyone constantly emailaing SE and voicing their complaints about batt n reception n android 2.2

Willy – lol welcome to the club, I am stuck with my brick of a phone on a 2 year contract – I should have known that a large multi-national company would use the ethos of opensource software (Android) B@stardise it, lock it down, mess it up and then walk away from it’s customers, I bought the Sony Erricson (normally I am a Nokia man, going back to the Nokia 2210) on android as I thought it would be an “i-phone killer”….

I should have just gone to the dark side and bought an i-phone 4 at least I get a free plastic case

I realy bought myself a pig in a poke. What should have been a joyful upgrade I find that I have in fact downgraded by buying the X 10. Everything now has 3 times the amount of clicks and the battery fades on me after only 12 hrs of mostly standby. The operations are cumbersome and not well designed. I was realy fooled by the guru talks. See how many are already available on the after market.
Who wants a x10?

My X10 stays up like 8-10h of use in work, no wifi mut a lot of 3G surfing.

When using the X10 as a “phone”, my battery was able to keep it 5 and half days up. In that time I used it for an hour of phone calls, 3 hours wifi and writing some sms’s. My Display was active for 6 hours (playing around and so on…). Firmware: R2BA023.
I think that’s pretty good for such a phone… The worst thing you could do is being online all day while updating weather, social networks, e-mail and so on every 5 minutes. I think thats the battery killer. I’ll stick to update when needed and if my phone is in my pocket, it deserves a little sleep

I’ve used Mugen Power batteries in the past and have not had any problems with them, they are one of the few trusted third-party suppliers I would use.

As for the size of the 3600mAh casing, we’ll have a detailed run through (including comparison pics in due course).
