Change text message format ?

Hi

Is there any way to change the SMS format ? I dont like the way they are all one long continuous conversation and also it doesnt tell me when a person's message was sent, only when I receive it. SO if I put my phone on in the morning, a text will give me the time it arrived on my phone but not when they sent it e.g. last night etc.

Unfortunatley there is no way to change either of these, they're features of Android...
