Email not working properly?

Hi there after some help with the email application.

I've set it up with a sky email account, and sending emails isn't a problem, however my phone doesnt receive any emails. Have i set it up correctly or is it not working right?

You should be receiving them too - what settings are you using?

i think you mean automatically in timescape, as with faceboog, you have to go into settings for email , and set it to update every 5,10,15 or 60 mins, by default its set to never

Ok so i got the sending a receiving working properly, but now my sendings just stopped working without even touching any settings?! anyone else had this?

Did you set up the specific settings for that email client for outgoing and incoming email when you set it up? If not I would start there.

Hi how did you get the email to work for a sky email account i have tried everything i can think of it asks me for a server and i have entered them i found from the net but it still doesnt work it says invalid.

I'm having the same problem and am also thinking of changing my eamil account to one that is supported by timescape.

Got mine working fine now using the standard email app. I used the following settings
Incoming mail. Server - pop.tools.sky.com
Port - 995
Ssl - always

Outgoing server smtp.tools.sky.com
Port 465
Ssl always.

Also got a Google mail account set up which is even easier as it auto syncs once ya put your details in!
