MyBackup issues

in preparation for the gb update i got the mybackup trial but have issue actually creating a back up. i backed up all the data i need issue comes when i try to make a back up of apps it gets to the 4 app then just finishes and reports out of space i have a 16gb card in with 5gb free . any ideas
