Timescape doesnt update home screen

Postby Joz2010 » Wed Apr 28, 2010 2:50 pm

On arrival of new emails, timescape updates the 'fixed' tile in the home screen so you don't have to open the spline to get a glimpse of new mail.
Unfortunately this updating stops after a while, so when I open timescape I see more recent emails than the one shown in the home tile.

I get notified of new mails but timescape doesn't show them in the home screen. It does show them in the spline.
When I reboot the phone it updates the home screen and works for a while and then stops updating again...
Killing the app doesn't help. I need to reboot.

Anybody experiencing the same?
Is this due to a setting or is this a bug?

I had the same thing and resorted to deleting the widget then putting it back... then I got bored and didn't put it back!

I like timescape, when it works...
So I like to have it fixed.

Where do we report bugs?

Personally I noticed that Timescape stopped updating when something like Advanced Task Killer ran and killed the apps. Maybe add Timescape to the ignore list and see if that helps?

If you have a task killer program you will also need to ignore the facebook app.
As long as timescape and facebook are both on in the background the problem seems resolved :oD
