im not into Samsung, they look cheap and plasticky, I need some quality if im paying £500 for a device. Ypo wouldn't buy a rolex Daytona with a casio strap.

Looks don't mean anything, it's what's under the hood that counts. S-5 & Note 4 are the best. HTC One M8 is a viable contender too.

Negative. I'm subscribed to this thread and intentionally set up notificaTions to my work email. My work email has much higher attention profile in my email app because client communications often require quick attention. I've actually moved on and don't really check in here at all except when notified. I didn't really like the Galaxy S-3 forums and learned a lot here. I follow XDA on Twitter and some Android stuff too. My working X10 sits in a box or a drawer somewhere untouched for months upon Months. I own many other devices now, almost all Samsung
