Update 2.1

I'm in Australia, i have an unbranded x10 mini, and i got the update tuesday afternoon....

prick murry! hahah im hangin out for it here. did you use SEUS to update? did it push a notification that an update was available to your phone at all?

lol, i just went to settings then "check for updates" and BAM! it said update available, please connect to sony companion or something

Anyway, i'm selling my x10 mini if someone wants to buy it lol

No need to wait, just do the procedure from XDA forum, posted in the home page of Xperia X10 Forum. I did it yesterday...

This is exactly i'm not understanding.Why people are waiting for their country release when they can get it now ? I'm from India but i flashed Nordic to get the update.The whole process only took 15 minutes of my time.So, why not ? What is so EXTRA special in your country's firmware which Nordic versions don't have ? I did not find any difference in them.Why you are waiting for no reason ?

I am waiting because i dont wanna screw about with my phone too much, the way my luck goes it would more than likely pack up on me completely!

If you know exactly how to do it , you would never had any problems but if you think it's risky then you are the best person who better knows your device.

if you followed the instructions, step by step, and making sure you are thoroughly familiar with the preparatory and troubleshooting steps, you will be able to reflash, and reflash, and reflash 359458023 times without bricking your phone.

the alternative is to wait. like what you're doing now. i've had my 2.1 since they released it for the nordics. and i thoroughly enjoy it, even tho some lousy coded super unoptimised live wallpaper is ruining my experience, that i had to get rid of it. it was nice looking tho..

Does anyone know how to flash back to 1.6 uk?

I flashed to 2.1 world generic, and would like to go back if possible.

I've seen people say that its possible, but not seen any posts how to.

I updated to 2.1 last week after I reflashed from UK Generic to Nordic Generic. On 1.6 I was able to uninstall Wisepilot, and I hadn't Creatouch, now they are here and I can't unistall them. Is there any way to remove them besides rooting? Few of pre-installed apps really annoy me like the two above mentioned and moxier apps, because I don't need them.

I think you can not remove them unless root is performed.
