Sorry dude I only just saw your post!
I tried it out and found it interesting, an improvement over many launchers but not a patch on Launcher Pro Plus or ADW.
Some nice features with the ability to arrange apps in the app tray and the pinch overview is quite nice but just not enough tweaking for my liking!

To all xperia x10 owners watch the above 3D UI and port it to ur mobile by following this guide

1)download the launcher from here http://hotfile.com/dl/107594968/edf8fde ... x.apk.html
2)install
3)restart your mobile
4)click on set default and choose SPB Shell as default
5)select activate now and wait Compatability error will be displayed ignore it
6)click on ok
it should work

to the blog owner please start this as a new post so everyone can get this launcher in their mobile…
all credits goes to the XDA developers 8-)
 It seems to have a limitless number of home screen panels that can be individually renamed :) and sort your apps to whichever panel you like  . It also has some custom widgets :geek: and stuff. My X10 is not JIT, rooted, modded or Optimized in any way and I seem to have performance issues with this, but I do like it 8-) .Other users with root/mod/opt etc may get better performance with this, please try. Some Widgets seem to slow it down a bit and it does NOT like low battery at all  .
What do you think about this :?:

I tried it and it's okay, a bit if a novelty IMO. Not as customizable as LPP and ADW etc, it does have some nice UI elements but it's also quite ridged in it's graphical appeal.
Something to play around with but not a keeper IMO, I'll be sticking with LPP.

o0o0o I've been wanting to add some flare to my phone, I like this. I have not, and most likely will not root my x10.

I have a couple of questions about SPB though.

Can you hit the home button to select installed launchers? (original, launcher pro etc..)

Is it easy enough to uninstall like any other app?

One final question, will my battery puke from this? :)

yes, yes & no.
Reading manual last night, this is intended for windows phones. My first attempts a2 customizing a particular folder left me without bluetooth button. I couldn't gerr it back. I un Installed, found folder related, deleted that and did fresh install. Everyrhing was there again and I was happy. I wake up this morning and its gone again...wtf? overall it looks cool, but I'm not happy with how I repaired with fresh install and still lost bt button. :|

I installed it as soon as I got home from work. I'm liking it a lot so far. My BT button is still there, but I don't use BT anyways. Want mine?

Lol, I'll figure it out eventually :geek: . I tried adw, go & lpp this past weekend and I honestly like spb better. The others only offer so many home pages and 2.1 has that anyhow. I'm going to mess around with spb again next weekend.

How do you access apps with this apart from the ones in the homescreens? I'm considering of trying this out

Are you talking about spb or arc launcher? If spb, that's the crappy part, I don't think you can. I haven't spent much time tinkering with it yet really. ALL my apps were scattered amongst the screens. As shown in the video, you can rearrange the panels to your liking. That's one of the things I like about it. You can put whatever you want wherever you want. Organize games, utilities, communications, multimedia, etc., etc. 8-)

I haven't tried this option to it's fullest, but I believe to access apps (using spb) you click menu, add, android shortcut, activities. I clicked on activities and it shows a long list of apps, using just text. It was very very slow for me though, so I exited out of that. Apart from that I don't know.

I'll play with it some more today.

Keep in mind spb is supposed to be for windows 7 phones. Many standard features in manual just won't work on android...
