3rd Party Notifications

I keep getting 3rd party notifications from things like dating websites etc in my notification bar. They show up with a blue star and link immediately to the browser.

I can only assume these have got on there when my son has downloaded a free game off Market. Is there any way I can find out which game has caused this problem (as I'm not really in the market for a new woman...one is enough for me!). I've taken most of the games off (possibly even the one that has caused the problem) but still getting the notifications.

I downloaded the AVG trial software which seemed to stop the notices, but the trial period expired, so I removed the AVG app, and now the notices are back, so I need to find and remove the actual app/software that is causing them. Im guessing the AVG software just blocked them, but I want to find and remove the offender.

Anyone enlighten me please?

I started getting these after a trip to Poland! One of them was in Polish..

I get about 1 a day. Did you manage to stop them?

I thought they were SMS Push messges but they're turned off!
