Hey everyone I made an in depth video tutorial that no matter who you are I show how to root + backup contacts/apps (on Android 1.6/2.1) + upgrade to Sony Gingerbread + root + load custom ROM + restore apps. It sounds like a lot but I made the video so you can follow the video no matter which Android version you're running, and you can stop the upgrade process at any time if you're happy with your progress.
