Hey everyone,

Must say, love that this forum has been set up, the sites looking very good so far, I do php IT work on another forum I'm involved and can see a few areas where stuff could be added, but considering the X10 is just out, its looking very good indeed.

I got my X10 last thursday and I just have a few question about it, as I need to know if I have a bit of a problem or not:

1) The battery life has been a bit short to begin with, but I was told by 02 that it takes a week or two of use for the battery to properly kick in, just wanted to make sure others are having this experience?

Also ...

2) When I'm texting away, sometimes I miss a letter, now I have pressed the buttons, but they just aren't doing anything, so it'll take two or three presses of the button. This happens with the 'a' button and the '1' button. Other times it'll work perfectly with no problems, so I'm just wondering if this is something that will be fixed with the android 2.0 release or if there is a fault on my touch screen?

The button press issue is one that a few people are having right now, especially on the letter A. I have to say though that this is something I've not had any issues with yet. I do get problems with the search button on the Android Market/Youtube app etc, but none with the keyboard itself. Hopefully, an update will come out fixing this issue.

Don't worry about battery life. Just make sure you charge it properly 4 to 5x, then it should hopefully settle down. Mine is the same at the moment (discharges too quickly).

ahh right ok, that makes me feel a bit better, yes I have some problems with the search buttons aswell, but if thats down to software then thats ok, wont need to go rushing back to 02 lol

All in all the phone is brilliant and I'm glad I didn't get the SE Satio now!

Having the same problem with texting and battery life. I keep hitting the S button when Im pressing A, same with Spacebar and Dot button.
I used to have major problems with the battery life, I downloaded Advanced task killer, and its perfect, everytime u use ur phone, open apps and whatnot, when your done, just open advanced task killer and kill all the apps that are running.

where did you download that from bud? i thought it closed the apps anyway?
