New to Xperia x10! Please Help!

Hi Guys~
Mind helping me this new bird? xD
I just bought it today~

when i try to open the internet and i cant close it so i turned off my phone~
After i turning my phone on back~ a "H" icon appear at the top of the screen =-=" And my credit are charged~
So,anywhere i can remove the icon?
And any tips for me so that i can end a program directly instead of turning off the phone?

All the H means is you have an HSPDA connection, symbols are as follows.

G = GPRS/2G
E = Edge (2G+)
3G = 3G
H = HSDPA/HSPA (3G+)

As for the browser, it should not be charged unless you load pages. Data is only used when an internet page is loaded so the browser will not be the problem for your credit being consumed.

There are a number of ways to close the browser including using an alternative browser from the android market like Dolphin, Opera or xScope which have exit buttons.
Another option is to force stop the browser.

Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications>

Select the All tab at the top, now select browser and tap Force stop.

And finally to stop data/credit being consumed you could turn off data traffic.

Menu> Settings> Wireless & networks> Mobile networks>

Now uncheck Data enabled.

Having data disabled though means no emails, account sync or any other type of data unless data enabled is checked again.
