Xperia X10 - unlocking, custom rom + linux

Postby IceBlue » Sat Sep 17, 2011 6:54 pm

Hello there.

I finally got my X10. Now I want to do everything imaginable on it. The first thing is unlocking.
If I get the procedure right, first I have to upgrade/downgrade to 2.1.
Then it's possible to unlock it with this instructions for devs. Or is there a more user friendly aproach available yet?
I searched a lot and the best custom rom seems to be Wolfs TW. Can I get this working after I unlock X10?
Now to the most hard and phun part. I want to have bactrack linux on it as well. So I follow this instructions for installation?

hi.. It is better to buy unlock codes given by the online provider Simpleunlocking.com to unlock your Xperia X10... Because it is safe and you can prevent your mobile from data loss.. So try to get the codes from here before using any software or flash tools... One more thing you have not mentioned your network and country, You can also call your service provider to unlock your mobile...
