Xperia X10 Video File Format not supported in PC

I recently copied a few video files from Xperia X10 to my laptop. The files had the extension of .3gp_170x128, these files are not getting played in my laptop. I already have quicktime, media player classic, divx and VLC player in my laptop. None of them are able to read these files. I even tried renaming the extension .3gp_170x128 to .3gp. It still doesnt work. Someone please help me in making these video files available in my laptop. Is there any converter available online to try to converting these files to any other standard formats. Or is there a player available to play these files in PC.

I was until recently using Quicktime, I had no problems playing videos from my phone with it. I have removed QT now though because I installed a Codec package for WMP which can now play most formats.
