Well the freex10 rom hasnt had a update in over a month and that thread is now slowly dying so i was wondering if anyone has used any of the other roms that are availible to use over on XDA? and there experiances. I am tempted to try out the new CM ones as they are running gingerbread. But what are the main differences between 2.2 and 2.3
As you can see from my Tapatalk sig I'm using CM 7 RC1 v0002, used it since CM 7 RC1 v0001 but been unable to use v3, 4 or 5 because of bootlooping? Not exactly new to this flashing thing, used FreeX10 Froyo since beta1 right through to beta4 and tried a few other ROM's along the way but for some reason v3, 4 and 5 just will not settle in my X10. I've tried flashing different basebands but with v3 & 4 I can't even sign into my google account because it reboots and v5 things are missing ie no lockscreen, most of the notifications screen is missing etc. They're missing but there if it makes sense lol, the lockscreen graphics cannot be seen but if you know where the graphics are then the phone will unlock? Weird! Might try v0005 again tonight and depending on how many reboots I get today I might even go back to Froyo beta4 which is a shane because this ROM is fantastic!

CM7 is a cracking ROM, a definite step up from Froyo even with CM settings but CM7 is not as stable as Froyo, no camera in CM7 and You Tube, website and other sites with video aren't working because the codecs aren't complete. All depends on what you want really!

Unfortunately I'm going to have to stop using CM 7 v0002 as my daily ROM, regular white LED reboots are driving me crazy. I do not think this ROM is stable enough for everyday usage atm but I really look forward to when it is. Going to reflash my baseband tonight back to 2.1.54 and fi back to using FreeX10 Froyo for now.
