Hi,
I have had my X10 Mini Pro, U20i, since July 2010 and I am using Android 2.1
For two days now my X10 mini pro started to shutdown and restart by itself after the warning :
'the application RoadSync (process com.dataviz.stargate) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.' with the button' Force Close'
Sometimes now I don't even get that warning and it restarts. No matter what, either I 'Force Close' or leave it, the phone restarts again. I don't even use RoadSync. This went on for quite a few times in this cycle of turning off and restarting again and again then it seems to calm down for a while then starts again unexpectedly but now I am stuck in this constant on off on off cycle. I also noticed that after it restarts by itself and I dont enter my pin, after a minute or so it would again restart itself in a cycle. This is really frustrating as i can't make calls or do anything with a temperamental phone like this and the battery dies so quickly too after all these auto restarts. The phone doesn't stay on long enough for me to backup anything at all so all I can do is make a copy of everything on the memory card on my computer.
When this phone works, it is great. I love the size and how simple it is to use and the camera when using Vignette. However, most of the time I find it frustrating as it stops and thinks whenever I need it to do something or it refuses to do it at all or does something completely different. For example, when moving from each page on the home screen, sometimes the phone would stop, think then give me the 'arrange icons' or 'arrange widgets' screen instead.
I am seriously contemplating getting rid of this phone if it continues like this. It is not usable as I can not relay on it. I have had issues with the battery life on this phone for being so poor and resolved it by purchasing an extra charger for it to leave at my studio at work. But with this problem there does not seem to be anything I can do to resolve it myself. I have been using SonyEricsson phones since you have been producing them but with the whole experience I have had with this phone, it is very unlikely I will be buying another SonyEricsson.
Has anyone else experienced this. I have written to SonyEricsson but still waiting for a reply
