X10 Mini fault?

Hi guys, hope someone can advise me on this.

My wife's X10 has started 'juddering' (that's the best way to describe it) - its like its having a heart attack. And also, the menu keeps popping up when she is viewing photos or trying to text making it impossible to use.

Both these things seem to happen after the phone has been used for a while.

I have upgraded the firmware to see if that would solve it, but it didn't. The phone is approx 6 months old.

Has anyone else experienced this or can advise?

Thanks in advance.

We've not heard of this specific issue but it good be RAM related.

When you upgraded firmware did you do a clean install (i.e. wiping data?) It may be due to the number of apps installed.

Try checking Settings>Applications>Running Applications and turn things off there that you don't need running.

Thanks, I did seem to have over a dozen apps running, which I have stopped all but settings and international keyboard. I'll see how it goes

What apps should I have running and should I delete some.

RAM is around 100Mb with 200Mb free.

Many thanks for your time.

The apps is down to you - see what is taking a lot of resource and try to stop using it a for a bit to see if it helps. Trial and error is the main way forward here...
