You can put the latest Android firmware. Put apps in the memory card, custom ROMs and so on. I really want to konw if the X10 really have multitouch.

Check out our post on it here. It basically opens up your handset, so that we'll be able to install custom Android 2.1 ROMs now (rather than waiting). Sames goes for Android 2.2 when it becomes available.

While that sounds good, does that mean we install the custom ROM the SE signature applications like Timescape, Mediascape will be gone? If yes, Any way to keep them while doing this?

Not entirely sure to be honest. Hopefully you could still install the Timescape/Mediascape apk's somehow.

I hope by the time android 2.2 is launched we have a way to root without SETOOL.

Lol. Fake root eh?

Just a question, sayyou were able to root your phone but want to go back to the original SE firmware. How do you do it? Is it easy? Or there's no way to go back?

Just flash it with a original rom/bootloader, cant be that hard. Anyway.. who want to go back to the original SE firmware? Not me :?
