Hi guys, having some problems here with regular reboots. Mostly when its charching and I start working on it, (texts, whatsapp or internet) it just force reboots time after time after time. it does happen when I listen music and browse too. But I think the last one is more due to lack of ram memory. The first one is the most annoying though.

Anyone else havin the same problems? Using wolfbreaks 2.3

I get this on the stock Orange UK 2.3.

Whenever playing a game, listening to music or just browsing...
Phone reboots and gets stuck in a bootloop for a while.
Sometimes I have to remove the battery and wait a couple of mins and put it back in and most of the time it sorts it, for a while...

I have tried custom versions of 2.3 as well but had the same problem.

So in the end I had to revert back to Orange UK 2.1 f/w in order to get the stock Orange UK 2.3 via SEUS

If someone does happen to have a miracle cure for this, I'd be more than grateful

2.1 is fine for you mate? Ill try z his 2.2 again.. ill get back to you, its weird that all 2.3 roms make our phones go into reboot all the time. Thought it was the hardware that failed on me. But let me check on 2.2!

Thanks for your reply!

If it carries on, I am seriously going to start thinking about reverting back to 2.1 permanently...
It can be fine for days and then out of the blue it will freeze whilst I am using a game, an app or the internet and then reboot itself and then the bootloop begins... Sometimes it'll only reboot a few times, other times, it's endless and doesn't stop until I have removed the battery for 5 minutes

It's getting so annoying, I have always championed my X10 (when it works) but I'm just getting fed up with it.
Roll on May 2012 when I can get it upgraded...

TimesTen, have tried reflashing the update with SEUS?
May have been a bad flash?

Okay so you downloaded something to update your X10, I'm guessing PC Companion because a far as I'm aware SE no longer support SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service)?
You can reconnect your X10 in flash mode (ie. phone off, plug into PC with PC Companion running, hold back button until you see a solid green LED), PCC will check for an update and then when it finds none it should ask if you want to reinstall the existing software (software repair). Select this option for a fresh install, beware that ALL user data will be wiped so back up contacts etc first.
If PCC doesn't offer software repair then let me know as I have a copy of SEUS in my Dropbox which I can link for you to download and try with that.

Good luck!

I've been suffering random lock-ups and reboots quite frequently lately :x
Frequently when the lock-ups occur, I remove battery and reboot
I have uninstalled about 15 apps I don't use much and still problems occur.
Other than that, my X10 seems to run fine most of the time on the Vanilla GB that came out last summer.
