Mine has been working ok. Have you checked the obvious? Date and time settings etc? am/pm?

Yeah, I have checked all settings etc
Example: I set my alarm at night, to sound at 06:45am... I would usually snooze for at least half an hour after that anyway, but....
I wake up of my own accord at 7am and realise the alarm has not gone off.
I chill in bed for a while and reset the alarm to go off at 07:20am just in case I fall back to sleep.
Then at 07:20 the alarm goes off! I really can't fathom why the alarm doesn't sound at the original time I set it.

3 days running now...

The other half has also said that it hasn't been going off so I know I'm not just sleeping through it.
Might actually have to just plug the alarm clock in and use that instead of relying on the phone!

Are you running any kind of task killer app, especially one that auto-kills processes? If you are, make sure it's not killing "Alarm Clock". Put it in your task killer ignore list, if there is one.

Also, some people have been having problems with network time getting the wrong time. You may want to try turning off network time (Settings > Date & time > Automatic OFF).

I use Advance Task Killer, but dont have any auto kill running, I open it up and deselect anything that I want left running!
I'll have a play about with it again this evening and hopefully I might get into work on time tomorrow ;)

What was the issue BobbleX? Was it:
a) you sleeping through it; or
b) task killer doing something?

If I am paranoid about not waking up, I put two or three different alarms on about 10-15 minutes apart. That way, with all the snooze options, I am bound to get up.

Also, I've not been tempted to use the task killers as I am of the school of thought that teh phone keeps runnign what it thinks it needs to run. The memory doesn't work like windows and suck up power.

In any event, since the update, I am getting through teh day VERY comfortably now. Easily getting home with 20-30% left and thats me playing with it through the day.

if you set alarms and use task killer, and don't "hide" it (so it don't get killed with all the others) it will
show that alarm is active, but it won't make a sound...

since i've stoped use task killers my phone works better and the battery last longer strange enough
maybe cause the phone don't need to start the programs all over after task killer has killed em or something :)
