Deleting messeges from inbox

Hi can anyone pls tell me how to clear my inbox instead of deleting one by one , atleast delete messages for a particular sender...

You can delete a message thread by long pressing that thread and then selecting delete message thread.

i just tried that nothinis happening only the message thread is opening

Long press means "press and hold on" until you see a menu pop up. From that menu select "Delete thread" (3rd Option).

If you are finding that is too difficult for you, then open the thread and click on the menu button --> More --> Delete thread option to delete that entire thread.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but just wondered if "Prime" is still about & cares to share the secret of how to delete whole text threads as opposed to deleting 1 at a time.


Anyone else know how to do this. I've got an X10 mini with the default SMS service that came with the phone.

press lower left button...
there you can choose to remove one or more whole threads...
