Is this really an issue with my newly bought xperia mini pro

hey guys

I just bought my new xperia mini pro sk17i 2 days back and phone is awesome with lot of features. But, I just found out that the feather touch buttons under the keyboard (back button and options button) doesnot always glow when I use them. Like, I think they should glow each time i click on them. they work fine but the glowing thing is not happening right it seems. Sometimes they glow and sometimes they dont. Also, sometimes when wven I am just touching my screen, they out of nowhere glow. Guys, plz help me. Shall I return this piece of ericsson. Otherwise, phone is too good. Any quick solution guys because I think there is a 3 day return policy. Looking forward to some insights.
