MEssage Centre NUmber

Hey,
I got the Xperia x10 Mini pro today and the shops are closed and was just wondering if anyone could help me out.
I can make and receive calls and I can receive text messages but cannot send any. I went into the network settings to change my SMS Centre number, everytime I input it and press ok, it just goes back to the main screen, the sms centre still says 'not set' no matter how many times I enter the number. I've tried turning the phone on and off. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem no matter how many times I enter the smsc number it won't update it. Can anyone help?

hello. i am also having the exact same problem. i can't send texts, yet i can receive them. i have also tried and tried countless times to enter the sms centre number but after pressing ok it still says 'not set'
please please can someone help us with this problem?? is there anything i can do?

Hi guys,

im having the same problem not being able to send sms even after using that code and entering it onto the SMSC, it still says "update error".
What do i need to do, please help.

I have even called my network provider and they cant help me.
