My Phone is making a green light in nofication area

Hi, my sony xperia x10 mini pro is making a blinking green light at the top where the nofication area is. This was right after i made a google account and linked it. How do i stop the light from blinking?

Hi there,

Unlock your phone and flip down your notifications tab from the top of the screen... It will show what notifications you have... and probably includes email notification....

Clicking on the notification will launch Gmail App to read your email, or you can simply click clear (top right) and your notifications tab will close.... Green light stopped!

It's useful if you've been away from phone or similar... You know there are things to attend to!!
