x10 mini connection issues

hi there, i have had my x10 for over 4 months now and in the past two weeks i have been having issues with it for example the phone would just turn off randomly, this would happen like once a day and now it happens every 5 minutes or so, also all the widgets have vanished from my home screen. i figured it was a firmware issue seen as my phone tells me i am on 1.6 so i booted up SEUS and selected my phone model and followed the exact steps to connect my phone, the green light comes up for about 5 seconds then it vanishes but nothing happens in SEUS it doesnt have a next button or anything so i cant update it. on PCC it never gets past the 3rd stage in the update process - so basically i am clueless and phoneless so can anyone help please?!

Sounds like a faulty cable or worse USB connection. Try the cable first. If you are able to charge the 2 outer connections are ok (power) it must be the data, if SEUS finds it as the correct model it will more than likely be a bad cable. £1 on eBay

Edit: when flashing hold the back button until SEUS connects and it will tell you to relise the back button and it will flash but could take uptown half an hour so be patient.
