Hi

I can delete the apps that I have downloaded myself, but how do I delete the pre-installed ones e.g. Google Talk which I will never use - they dont show up under the "manage applications" page.

They do show up under manage applications, at the top there's a tab so scroll i til you reach All.
But system apps can't be uninstalled and even if they could Gtalk is part of the Android Market/Google Play store so you couldn't delete it even if you wanted.
