I had my X10 say that once, go to manage applications in the settings and go into the camera and "Clear data". If that don't work try "Force close".

Failing that you could do a software repair with PC Companion or SEUS but back your apps up coz you'll loose them, if that doesn't work then it's likely to be a hardware problem?

It's actually quite easy tbh, install "PC Campanion" to your computer from your phone if you haven't already.
Plug your X10 into your PC via USB, start PC Companion and follow the onscreen instructions. It'll ask whether you want to do a software update or repair so choose repair and again follow the onscreen prompts.

if you haven't done a reflash, here are some things you can do
1) does rebooting work?
2) does an alternative camera app work? try camera 360 or vignette. not sure if there are free versions, but if there isn't it shouldn't be much of a problem to ask google if it can provide. ;) if you get what i mean....
nevermind. going on to the next point,
3) if the above doesn't work, try a factory reset first. that way you won't need to go thru the hassle of flashing
4) if all the above doesn't work, then you have no choice but to repair the firmware

to mod: i think he solved his problem already. lock please?

Simply drag and drop any file into the micro Secure Digital card that goes in the back of the R4 DS or R4 card and that's it. Enjoy movies, songs and other multimedia files, homebrew games and downloaded commercial games with the R4 DS or R4 card that has set off the R4 Revolution. R4 cards work with any Micro SD card speed without producing any lag in the game.
