Error while updating SE X10

Hellow EVeryone,
Last night i was updating my SE X10I thru PC Compnanion and once the update process was over, a error message flashed update of update and then i can start my phone. Once i start it shows a screen with exclamation mark and phone and then keeps restarting..

Please Please adv.. M compeltely lost..!

Sounds like a bad software install to me, haven't has this problem myself.

Did you use PC Companion or SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service)?

Try re-installing the software with SEUS, download it from Sony Ericssons website and run it.

i did it with PC companion.. Will download SEUS and retry.. lets hope it gets fixed...!

I tried to update but was unsuccessful as it said battery not charged 50%. Now IF I PLUG TO CHARGE THE BATTERY THE PHONE REBBOTS AUTOMATICALLY WITH THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE.

PLEASE HELP HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY...

please update... how to charge the battery now... I removed the battery and re-fixed it and the then plugged it to the power cable.. it start the phone itself and keeps rebooting every 50-60 seconds..

how can u charge the batterY?

sounds like a bad flash. try to reflash the firmware again. hold down the back button while plugging in usb, when led lights green, let go off back button. this is the procedure to enter flash mode.

Thanks, but now the issue is how to charge the battery? The moment i plug the micro USD its goes into a loop of reboot every 50-60 seconds?

Any way out?

Do you know anybody with this phone as the only way you'll flash is with a charged battery, if not then your going to have to send it in for repair with SE or your provider.

Just a small question? Now when i plug to mobile to charge. the LED turns orange instead of green as before? Is that normal?

The orange light indicates that the mobile has < 90% of battery. Once it crosses 90% it will turn green and stay green even after it reaches 100%. (Means the green light will not turn off like it used to be in Android v1.6)
