No I haven't to be honest, been so busy with other stuff that I haven't really been on XDA for a little while.

Haven't the time for testing atm so thought I'd wait for a stable release.

no i haven't actually.. studying atm.. exams coming soon. don't have time to fix it if it breaks xD will give it a run after exams tho! because i recently found out zdzihu's beta4 cannot roam! it just says "searching". not good, because i'm going to NZ this summer. was thinking you have tried it and can get feedback from you looks really promising though!

Well I'm now trying rendeiro's CM6.1.3 Gingerbread, it's CM6 with a GB twist and I'm really liking it atm.
Tookie I tried J's CM7 v014 with custom kernel briefly, had a fe issues like no Wi-Fi and not as stable as CM6.1.3GB or FreeX10 Froyo beta4 hotfix1 which I have had no stability problems with as an above poster mentioned.
I'm going to hold off with CM7 fit now until it's more stable, I need a stable ROM for when I'm at work but CM7 is out of "Release Candidate" stage so shouldn't be much longer!

yeah cm7 is out of rc, but only for supported devices, will it really be final! and from the xda forums, looks like they're having problems with custom kernel instead of the firmware itself. (even tho some stuff like camera still dun work)... version 15 is out btw. and there was a new custom kernel released recently, bin4ry contributed to the new version. freexperia v3. this one has wifi fixed..

but custom kernel installation is pretty troublesome. gotta download 2 additional files to copy into the system kernel folder, then download the custom kernel, and replace the ones in the .zip, then flash it..

Yeah I noticed the update, just not got the time or patience for testing atm. Like I said I'll be waiting for a more stable release then use it.
Will keep an eye on the thread and see how it goes.

Well anybody who visits XDA will know that Jerpelea stopped Gingerbread 2.3.2 at version 17, it became stable enough to mod it into Cyanogen Mod 7 which is based on Gingerbread but let me tell you far better.
It's allot more stable than his most recent 2.3.2 v17 and still on works on the older baseband but nonetheless an amazing jump in productivity, the guy is a development god!
So I have downgraded my baseband and flashed this with xRecovery, I'm seriously impressed with the feel and quality if this ROM. Okay it's maybe not quite a stable as FreeX10 Froyo 2.2.1 and the camera isn't working, there are some codec issues atm so no working YouTube app but I can live with these issues for now and at the speed J is tweaking this ROM I wouldn't be surprised if these problems are sorted in a month or two.

Another poke in the eye for SE and one that should sting more than any other!

Here's to the FreeX10 Team of XDA and if coarse we wouldn't have this ROM if not for Cyanogen and the CyanogenMod Team.
