Hotmail trouble

Hi I'm having trouble settin up my hotmail account I put my details in and it says checkin incomin server settings n then stops n says connection failed unable to connect to server... pls help...

Some applications seem to have trouble with hotmail servers. I recommend K9 Mail which is free in app market. It works great with multiple accounts and allows you to set up different individual synch intervals, alert tones and color led indicators for each account.

Jus tried k9 but even tht won't except my hotmail account.

I have no clue what else to suggest then 
. K9 worked for me when everything else including stock failed. If you are able to sign in to hotmail using pc/mac, it may be phone perhaps a factory reset? ... Good luck

Google the settings for Hotmail, when setting up accounts email clients quite often get the settings wrong. Specifically server, port and security (SSL etc).
