is there such a app to send anonymous txts for a joke,because i noticed in the am market that america have that sort of app??

I tried that and it includes an email address with first text requesting you to reply "read". I did that and got the message I sent, but it had that email address again. So I would have to say that it's not going to fool people like caller id faker does. I tried pranking two people with it yesterday and nothing. When there is one as good as caller id faker, I'd love to use it.

theres really no true app to do that although i came across google talk and u can anonymously send and txt or calls with a different number everytime

I hadn't even heard of this app until you mentioned it!
Does it really do what it says on the tin?
Does that one work in UK? When searching I found another one with exactly the same description called BluffMyCall
I have 11 days off work coming up, could most of them now be spent toying with peoples heads?

Yes, does what it says. I believe it is only for North America, but I'm not sure. In my case, it calls local access number plays ad(s) for up to a minute and connects free two minute call. At two minute mark, disconnects. Messes with peoples heads big time...
