2.3 on T-Mobile X10i

Postby Diastant » Tue Aug 16, 2011 12:21 am

I have an X10i with a T-Mobile SIM card. Seeing how T-Mobile doesn't have the X10 as an official phone on its roster, is there any good way to get 2.3 on it?

I'm an Android noob. I've used iOS before, I've jailbroken lots of iDevices but I've never done anything with an Android device so please use simple words.

Can somebody please explain in a very clear and concise way on how to get 2.3 on my X10? I'm currently running 2.1 Eclair.

Thanks.

@Diastant

Sorry I previously missed this post, do you still need help getting Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread in your X10?
If you do you'll need to root the phone, are you happy with this?
If you are happy with this reply and I'll help!

@Spiderman_202

Same applies to you?
Also please abide by forum rules, your other post was deleted for being a double post and not on topic with that thread.
Thank you!

You don't need to root.
They can go to XDA and find my post with all X10 firmwares in it.
And flash that with FlashTool, no root needed.
