Just got a Plantronics Voyager Pro headset. Supposedly THE best headset around...
Pairs like a breeze, but the sound quality is aweful. I get this knocking sound in the loudspeaker which makes it really uncomfortable to make a phone call.
I returned it and got a new one.
however: same problem.
Pairing it with my colleague's blackberry gives a far better sound quality.
Does anybody exprience the same problems with bluetooth headsets?
I suspect it to be a xperia x10 bluetooth problem.
Any ideas?

I have a Jawbone Icon and it work great, no issues.

I use several bluetooth headsets and usually have few issues. Occasionally the other party on my call will mention that I'm cutting out etc.. More often than not, this happens when I'm outside or my bluetooth device has a low battery. Sometimes it happens for no reason at all... Good luck.

New legislation regarding distracted driving just came into effect in my province last week. Now all bluetooth devices are selling at 3x price they were just a couple months ago. I have two Motorola headsets and a pair of sunglassea wit bluetooth as well
