LED notification

i downloaded go sms pro and love it. i recently upgraded my phone to gingerbread and had to download it again. i have enabled pop ups when i receive messages. before, when i got a message, unlocked my phone, only read the pop up and locked the phone again, the led would continue to flash. only when i responded or closed the pop up would the led stop flashing. now with the newer update, it doesn't do that. my led stops blinking after lock the phone again. i found it really convenient before because i could tell when i have not responded to a message yet. is this because of the gingerbread update or is it go sms pro?? i tried a few other led apps like blink and light flow, but it still turns off when i unlock the phone. anything else out there??

I have found that now on GB, with the stock sms notifications in the top bar...
If I read just the little info on the status bar without actually opening the notification tray the light stays on as if I haven't checked it.
But if I pull the tray down, the light stops blinking, regardless of whether or not I have actually pressed and acknowledged the notification.
I'm only guessing, but I would say it's a GB thing.
But, if you're in doubt, email or message the devs of the sms app you're using and get their opinion
