Camera Auto Flash app found

Hey, I just found out from xda-developers that Vignette supports auto-flash on the X10. I downloaded the demo version and it works! By that I mean that the LED flash turns on momentarily as you take the picture, unlike the built-in Camera app where you have to turn it on and off manually through settings (even an on-screen button would have been better).

Have you ever tried taking a picture in a fairly dark room using the manual LED flash? That thing is blinding!

Wicked find....I have had the sony cybershot phone for years till upgrading to this phone and I was so amazed and upset there was not a normal
auto flash!! This is cool, but I wonder how to get the full version so my pics can be taken in 8mp

Got the full version now, and though I am not one for effects etc, just having a "normal" flash is so worth the £3 lol!! Thanks for the excellent find

Not worth it.

The application cannot make use of the 8.1 Megapixel. It can capture only at 3.1 MP Max.

Seems to capture at 8.1 on mine, just adjusted it in the settings to do it at 8.1 instead. In the trial version it wont tho, but the full version does.

Are you sure you have the full version and not the trial? There are 3 different settings avaialble, 0.3, 1.9 and 8.0 megapixel.
I know the trial version only allows 0.3. Strange you have not got these settings like??

When on your phone go to the Android Market application on your phone and in the search bar type in Vignette.
This should bring it up

I find the zoom and pic quality kinda poor, ill rather press the menu button, go to photo light, select it, THEN press the back button again, and shoot my pics instead of using vingette.

I have downloaded this app and my camera flash is still either on or off, no auto flash. Any ideas what im doing wrong?

This thread was started back when the X10 was running android 1.6, your either on android 2.1 or 2.3 so that could be why??
