X10MP 3G/WiFi drop out?

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.

I got the X10MiniPro about a month ago , and on general I am realtively happy with it.

I do however very often experience that the 3G and WiFi drop out, typically this relates to the WiFi in a manner where it first finds a network when I activate it, then it works for, say 5-10 minutes and then dropout. Then it won't find the network and very often it seems to find it if de-activate and activate wifi again.. (like it was a stubborn old whimsical PC modem or something )

With the 3G it is different, then it will also disconnect at intervals , perhaps the same or every 10-15 minutes or so, and then -i lose all connection regular phone connection as well. Then it comes back after a minute or two..

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal ? Is it due for service?

Hi I have a similar problem with my mini pro which I just bought, I think it relates to the Sleep function for your wifi as with mine it seems to loose its wifi connection if I leave it and the screen sleeps but if I work with it wifi stays solid.

Have changed the wifi sleep preference, Settings>Wireless Controls > Wi-Fi settings> "Menu Button" > Advanced > Wi-Fi sleep policy and set it to Never but does not seem to help. Maybe there is a bug in this option and its not applying or perhaps I am wrong about the wifi reason. Have set my screen to never sleep and my wifi seems to be holding now but this is not really a good solution.

Does anyone have anything to add on this problem? Am I wrong on the power setting problem? Hope this might help someone

Dont have 3G access and rely soly on wi-fi for my data connection.
