Does Anyone Still Maintain/Monitor The Forum

Seems to have become littered with spam and ads posted all over the place....

I concur.
I've spoken to JayJ about it and I think he's busy with other stuff now. :(
I report the posts when I see them and add foe the user.
My second X10 is bricked right now  and I'm all over XDA etc and spending way too many hours trying to get the bugger flashed :o so it at least works. I'm stuck paying $60/month for the brick...

Always does this:
DSC_1633.jpg
DSC_1633.jpg (240.35 KiB) Viewed 6936 times

Then if I use PCC, PCC Repair Phone, SEUS or almost any firmware it looks like this:
DSC_1634.jpg
DSC_1634.jpg (216.08 KiB) Viewed 6936 times

When I use Rogers X10_2.1.1.A.0.6_Rogers.ftf it looks like this:
DSC_1642.jpg
DSC_1642.jpg (252.52 KiB) Viewed 6936 times

Result always same: Flash Failed :x

Dude, I dont even get that, I'm paying best part of £40 for mine.
It wont charge or boot up.

If I put it on charge it does nothing, plug it into computer the LED flashes red once every five seconds or so.
If I hold the power button, the LED flashes red three times.

I have tried a friends battery and it made no difference, put my battery in a friends phone and it worked fine in theirs so know it's not the battery.
Given up trying to find a fix, so it's living in the back of my bedside drawer.

Got another 2 months (to the day lol) before I can upgrade.... Don't think the next one will be an SE handset.
I'm thinking Galaxy Nexus for my next one!

The Nexus is okay but the SGS2 slightly out specs it IMO, but then I am bias as I own a Galaxy S2. lol

Hi guys, I'm sorry but been real busy. What with family, work, admin on GalaxyS2Forum and my hobbies, my time on here is limited.

I do understand your frustration, the forum has become a haven for spammers and spambots alike. I had a little clean up last night, by no means finished but a start. To be honest it's a loosing battle, I remove some and more is posted!

If anybody wants to volunteer their services then let me know and I'll speak to X10 about mod status?

All the best guys, Jason.

Are you saying Galaxy S 2 better than Galaxy Nexus?

It's been confirmed that the Galaxy S2 ICS roll out starts today so with a better spec and ICS, yes the Galaxy S2 is better than the Galaxy Nexus!!

I had to bend connection terminals on wall charger to get proper connection a few times. Maybe battery connection terminals won't contact batteries ¿?

Right we've updated the phpBB software and included some more Q&A Captcha questions which should make it harder for the spambots (hopefully!)
