less than a week old and wont charge up?!

Postby mrgorden » Wed Jul 28, 2010 8:23 pm

could someone please help me fix and understand this bloody phone?

i have charged my mini pro twice since i got it at the weekend, today the batter ran flat, i came home and put the phone on charge.

the problem i have is there is no led signal to let me think its charging, ive tried long pressing the power off/on and i get a shunt of vibration. i put it back on mains charge and either nothing at all happens or after 30 or so secs the led flashes red once.

what the hell is that all about? the phones been plugged into the mains for over an hour now and still acts dead as a nail.

every phone ive owned in the past charges either switched on or off what the hells going on? im tearing my hair out here, i need to make calls.

please help!

Dude chill your gonna have a seizure, sounds like a one off problem with your handset to me. When you charge one of these phones they should automatically turn on within about 2 minutes so something isn't right. If it's contact then get them to fix or change it, it'll be under warranty.

I notice you're on Virgin from another thread - seems like the X10 mp doesn't like the new Virgin SIMs. Mine is exactly the same, works perfectly with no SIM or my T-Mobile SIM. Virgin sent me another phone but it's exactly the same, just waiting for a replacement SIM now.

However, I'm cancelling under the 28 day satisfaction guarantee and trying another network.
