How do you set how often X10 mini pro checks for new mail?

Hi, new here. Tried to do a search for help on this but the forum said that "email" is too common a word to be allowed to search for.

As the title suggests, can you set the email to be checked on regular intervals, or is it only possible to enter the email app and click refresh?

This is using the Sony Ericcson email app, not gmail.

Hi Grant I use an AP called K9 Pure Mail widget that can be set up with any pop3 account and works well and can be set to auto check every 1 minute to 1 hour which ever inbetween you like or a time you want, you can reply forward and view images or not when you open an email.

Its great and it's free, go to the Android market from your phone and search for K9 Pure mail widget.

Not that I can see I think the native AP is a bit pants and is very limited, I think they should of come up with a better one than that as I would be using it.

I'll agree on the pants call. It's actually my girlfriend's phone and she's never had email on her phone before, so by all accounts she's loving it, but i just know it can be better.

use POP3 account in SE email app, check's mail automatic once a minute
