SMS Message length

Hello Everyone

First post here and it should be a fairly simple answer: Is there anyway to tell the length of text messages you are sending on the Mini? I'm PAYG and it matters!!

As you get close to the end of the text (140 characters IIRC), a count-down starts on the screen to say how many characters are left (it does on the Mini Pro, i'm assuming the Mini does the same). Once over the single text limit, it displays "2SMS" at the bottom and again does a count-down as you get closer to the third text.
