Barnacle Wi-fi Tether not connecting to internet?

I have my X10i rooted and Barnacle installed, I've input the lan as"athwlan0" and my laptop has foun the signal and connected but when I start chrome or IE for that matter I cannot get a page to load?

Any advice?

Yup, done all the above. Tap the tab and it's using data but it just won't load a page on my laptop?

Has anybody actually managed to get Barnacle to work on the X10?
I still can't get a page to load, chrome tells me the page has moved or does not exsist but that's not the case as it says that when I loose signal at home on WiFi and if I go on via WiFi the sites I'm trying to access are there as usual.
My PC says it's connected to Barnacle and Barnacle says it's connected to my p phone, it's even using data but a page will not load?
HELP?
