1. Download SEUS from here.

2. Find where you saved it and install on your PC.

3. Double click the SEUS icon on your PC desktop, a popup will probably appear telling you "A program needs your permission to continue". Click "continue" and the Update service will start, read the four bullet points and tick the box to agree to the terms of use.

4. Next you'll be asked to select your phone, select X10 and click Next.

5. Follow the four bullet points,

    1. Turn off the phone and wait at least 30 seconds.

    2. Connect the USB Cable to a USB port on your PC.

    3. Press and hold the Back key on the phone while connecting the Micro-USB cable into the phone.

    4. Continue holding the Back key.

6. SEUS will then tell you when to release the Back key and then will then check your phone for what software it is running, if you are running the latest software your next screen will display this.

Your phone already has the latest software

If you are experiencing problems with your product we recommend that you re-install the software.

Note: Data stored in the phone memory will be lost.
It's a good idea to back up the information stored in your phone before installing the software.
See Why do I need to back up my phone?

7. At the bottom right of this screen there will be two buttons, left will be "Cancel X" and the right will be "Install >", it is this "Install >" button you want to click to re-install the phones software and do a software repair. So click it and wait for the software to be installed.

8. There will be two loading bars, the first is downloading the software the second is installing the software. DO NOT UNPLUG THE PHONE UNTIL PROMPTED AFTER BOTH THESE BARS ARE COMPLETE!

Hope this helps, sorry if I might be teaching you to suck eggs!

Good Luck!

Jason.

I'm at a loss mate, we're both running version: 2.10.10.9 and the only difference I can see is your running W7 whereas I'm on Vista?
I don't see why it would make a difference but you never know, only thing I can think is to try a repair using PC Companion or use a PC with Vista?
Not even sure it would make a difference but anything is worth a try a this point.

Glad to hear you found a work around but personally I like to dl apk's from the internet on my phone and then install them asap, having to go home to do so would really irritate me.
Sorry, just my 2 pence worth! ;-p
