Update 2.2

First of all, I am very happy about the 2.1 update. I was one of the first to recieve is yesterday afternoon and am so far very please. MY X10 mini pro is now faster and much more usable. There are a few glitches, but I expect SE to release a fix in a short time.

Now we should all turn our attention to what really matter. Will X10-series ever get 2.2, and if so, when? I want flash!

Yeh i really want flash to hopefully someone can get it to work since it does on some other 2.1 phones! By the sounds of it SE are not gonna release a 2.2 update and even if they are working on it i am pretty sure they are not gonna tell us until close to its release date! The only hope of getting 2.2 as far as i can see was when SE said they are no longer gonna mess with the actual os just build layers on top and if they do that it will take them a lot less time/money!

well still waiting to get my update as im sim free and live in uk.Noticed se now saying the updates are available on their site.

OP, stop demanding stuff ya? not to be rude here, but you do realise ~90% of x10 users do not have 2.1 yet? (inclusive of "illegal" nordic-ers like me) and they already mentioned their intentions with 2.2, or the lack of it. so just wait for it. simple as that.

posting thread after thread of "where is my 2.2? I WANT IT NAO" when half of the world does not have it yet, just sucks. everyone wants what you want. but if they won't release it, we won't have it, until someone cracks the bootloader. so be patient and wait it out, like what you did for 2.1.

I have google the web up and down to find any concrete info about a potential 2.2 update in the future, but found nothing. So naturally, I went to the most obvious place for information: you guys. Hopefully, we will hear some news within long, considering the 2.3 is ready for release soon and SE has a tradition for always beeing one step behind

there isn't, because those people at SE are celebrating the launch (-.-") of 2.1. yeah. hopefully they will get their heads together and realise that gingerbread is NOW, and they work on it, so they can give it to us. till then, let's pray for the quick roll out of the other regions. i'm sure they want 2.1, more than anything right now.

They should want it. It truly feels like a whole new phone. Better in every way. Only problems so far have been some lagging from time to time and some wallpaper-bugs.
