Can you convert digital copies of films onto x10?

Hi all, first post on here... i've spent all evening trying to convert a dvd with a digital copy on (comes with a blu ray film).. so that i can watch it on my x10 xperia. Tried Handbrake, Videora and some others - but nothing!! It driving me mental
Can someone help me out
I've also tried normal old dvd's.. but again nothing.

i think i read this issue somewhere. i can't remember where tho. what format are you converting it to? note that it can't play divx and xvid on the STOCK player (hint hint).

i believe it should work with at least avi and mp4. check out the x10 whitepaper.

Yeh make sure u have downloaded a good media player from the store first! Rockplayer seems to play everything i throw at it!

What programs are you using to convert the films from DVD onto PC.
I was trying to convert a DVD that came with a Bluray we have - it has a digital copy on disc so you can watch it on many formats. Would rock player read this file ( i think it may be for ipods etc )..

well for dvds i use dvddecrypter and handbrake! Yeh i have heard about the digital copies pretty sure it will be in mp4 format which should work unless its got some sorta encryption or something on it! Just download the free version of rockplayer from the store if it works it works, i mean it only takes a few seconds to give it a try!!!

I suggest you Pavtube Blu ray ripper which can convert DVD and BD. The latest version support GPU acceleration(Nvidia).One thing I liked Pavtube is that it's free of charge for future upgrade.
