cracked screen advice??

Hi all,
My gfriend dropped her xperia x10 and cracked it outside screen. The inside main screen is fine,but the outside screen is not and need a replacement. Anyone suggest where can get one from please because it looks shit like it is?

So its jus the touch module thats broke been looking my self to see where i could get one cause mines all scratched up but have been uncucessful! I believe you have to disassemble the whole phone to replace it and its glued downpretty well so might be worth sending it in for repair!

Right i found out what my mistake was while looking for one! Everyone on the forums calls it a touch module however what you need to search is a x10 digitizer! Found a few online shops selling them but all asking around £80 which is way too much! On ebay they are around £45-50 some with the tools you will need to replace it! I would give SE a ring first tho they may send you a refurmished one for a fixed price if your lucky!

I've been looking on ebay at kits which you can to replace the touch panel and screwdrivers and instructions comes included....then Im gonna buy a screen protecter this time

Well, if I remember correctly. The phone digitizer is held down with some form of adhesive....(Check the link for the taking apart guide nd scroll to the the last picture of the guide)

So I'm wondering how would we re attach the digitizer back on? Using the same adhesive that's allready there?

Sorry dude, I was just being sarcastic.
You may not be able to tell until it's apart, I have rebuilt phones in the past and more often than not adhesive can be reused. Really it depends what is used, some parts are held down with a resin type substance and this can be reused.
