CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.1) hits alpha on the Xperia X10

Xperia X10 CM9Trusted xda-developer member spaarc has just released Alpha 1 of CyanogenMod 9.0.0 ‘KANGkangKANG.’ The custom ROM, based on Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich, is an alternative to zdzihu’s ICS ROM that hit alpha last month.

This ROM is not intended for daily use and has a lot of stuff not working including Wi-Fi, data, audio, browser, camera and spaarc says that it is “highly unstable”. Give it some time though and we’re sure the ROM will get more polish. Click here for full details and see a preview video below.

  8. I dont get these mods or am I missing something?
    I keep seeing incomplete hacks/mods call them what you will, but I cannot recall ever seeing one that is stable….so whats the point in installing them.

    Use Wolfs TW Gingerbread v7b6 ROM its much faster than SE’s stock 2.3.3 … :))

    Is there a video of this ROM working on the X10 anywhere? I’ve had a look without success. I’m running stock 2.3.3 and my phone has never been rooted. I like the stock 2.3.3 interface etc but it is so laggy and my icons take forever to appear, what is the best ROM for me? Thanks

  17. Anyone know if Cyanogen 7.1 is available for the Xperia X10? I’ve done a few searches but can’t find anything with a download link. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  19. With latest CM9 FXP109 (update-cm-9.0.0-RC0-es209ra-KANG-signed.zip) on my Xperia x10 3G data, camera, mute in call is not working. I can see About phone > Status > Mobile network state = Disconnected. APN is correct.
    My baseband version is 2.1.71.

    I can’t understand these roms and
    I don’t know how to upgrade my mini pro.
    What should I do to upgrade the phone?

    And, one more is that I don’t have vending.apk and nfc.apk
    so I can’t use not only market, but also google play store (My mini pro is Upgrade Ver. 2.0.1.A.0.28… 🙁 )
    So I can’t get any applications now! Can you send me those applications to my email?

    P.S.
    Some apk aren’t able to upgrade. What should I do??
