  • Xperia X10’s still sold in selected Best Buy stores for $1 (with 2-yr contract)

As far as we were aware the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 went EOL in the US in February. Well it appears that selected Best Buy stores in the country are still stocking the handset, where it is being sold for $1 upfront on a two-year contract. It’s worth noting though that this is via AT&T, […]

  • AT&T Xperia X10 reaches EOL; hopes vanishing for Android 2.1 update?

Whilst most of us around the world are now running the Android 2.1 update on our Sony Ericsson Xperia X10s, spare a thought for those in the United States, where users are still stuck on Android 1.6. Back in late November, Sony Ericsson USA said that the update will take longer to hit the States, […]

  • Xperia X10 reaches EOL on AT&T in early March?

Whilst AT&T Xperia X10 customers are still waiting for the update to Android 2.1, it appears that the handset will reach end-of-life (EOL) on March 6 according to a tipster at AndroidCentral. This is a bit surprising given that AT&T only launched the handset in August 2010. The move is probably down to lacklustre sales […]

  • Xperia X10 for AT&T unboxed

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is not expected to hit retail for a few days yet, but the folk to MobileCrunch managed to get hold of the retail box and shot some unboxing pics. The only difference that I could make out (apart from the packaging) was the AT&T logo on the back cover of […]

  • Xperia X10 launches with Android 1.6 in US

Sony Ericsson is either brave or stupid, I can’t work out which. The X10 is going up against some true Android heavyweights in […]

The Sony Ericsson already passed through the FCC last week and it has done so again, but this time with AT&T 3G bands. When it passed through last time it looked as if the handset was heading to T-Mobile US, but this news gives hope to all those on AT&T’s network. Of course, just because […]
