As for rooting, it's not that difficult and easily removed if you change your mind. Look around the forum, lots of info about rooting from myself and others. Read, digest and experiment.
Fonts can be changed with an app called Typefresh, you'll also need AndExplorer installed and obviously need to be rooted.
